Scrub & Shine offers gym cleaning across the Gold Coast, Logan and Brisbane South. We tailor routine cleaning for fitness studios and commercial gyms around member traffic, opening hours and the areas you want included.
Focus on the areas members use most
A gym combines workout spaces, reception, change rooms and often showers. These areas need different cleaning methods and frequencies. We assess your site and agree a practical checklist, including which equipment surfaces may be cleaned and which remain the responsibility of staff or members.
- Reception counters and accessible shared surfaces.
- Vacuuming or mopping suitable floors around accessible workout areas.
- Agreed high-touch surfaces and equipment contact points.
- Toilets, basins and change-room surfaces.
- Showers where specifically included in the scope.
- Staff areas and routine bin emptying.
Protect flooring and equipment
Rubber flooring, mirrors, upholstery and electronic equipment need suitable methods. Tell us about manufacturer instructions and any surfaces that require special care. We do not assume one chemical or process is suitable throughout the gym.
Heavy equipment is not moved as part of a routine visit unless a safe arrangement is specifically agreed. Maintenance, repairs and specialist equipment servicing remain separate from cleaning.
Cleaning around opening hours
For a studio, after-hours cleaning may be straightforward. A 24-hour gym needs a plan for low-traffic periods, safe access and managing wet-floor areas while members are present. We discuss those arrangements before confirming service times.
The right frequency depends on membership use, classes, showers and overall foot traffic. A small studio and a busy gym may need very different schedules. We offer flexible arrangements and no lock-in contracts, with a scope that can be reviewed as use changes.
Clear standards and communication
We agree how to report maintenance issues, inaccessible areas or changing priorities to your nominated contact. Cleaning helps maintain presentation and hygiene, but does not replace member wipe-down routines or staff checks throughout the day.
Can you include showers and change rooms?
Yes, these can be assessed and included in your quote. Let us know how many facilities you have and the hours they are in use.
Is an occasional deep clean included?
Periodic or additional tasks must be agreed separately; they are not automatically part of routine visits. Carpet steam cleaning, window cleaning and linen services are excluded.
