Scrub & Shine provides childcare cleaning for early learning centres across the Gold Coast, Logan and Brisbane South. We agree the areas, tasks and after-hours schedule with your centre contact before work begins.
Cleaning for rooms and shared facilities
Childcare premises need clear responsibilities between the centre’s daytime routines and the external cleaning service. We discuss what staff already manage, what should be included after hours and any room-specific instructions. Your quote records the agreed scope.
- Cleaning accessible tables, benches and agreed room surfaces.
- Vacuuming and mopping suitable floors.

Products and access need planning
Tell us about surface materials, product restrictions and the centre’s cleaning procedures. Cleaning products must be suitable for their intended use and used according to directions. We agree storage and access arrangements rather than leave chemicals or equipment where children can reach them.
Rooms should be accessible at the agreed cleaning time. Toys, learning materials and personal belongings need clear instructions: their cleaning or movement is included only where specifically agreed. This prevents disruption to the next day’s activities.
After-hours scheduling
Cleaning once children have left allows routine floor and amenity tasks to be completed with less disruption. We agree the days, access procedure and lock-up requirements with you. Different areas may need different frequencies depending on how they are used.
Our owner-led service provides a direct point of communication when priorities change. A clear checklist makes it easier to raise a concern and review whether the scope still suits the centre.
Know what is included
Our service supports your centre’s cleaning routine; it does not replace staff responsibilities during operating hours or promise an accreditation outcome. Specialist biohazard work and clinical waste are outside routine cleaning. Carpet steam cleaning, window cleaning and linen services are excluded.
Do you clean toys and play equipment?
Discuss the specific items during the site visit. Materials, manufacturer instructions and time required need assessment before any toy or equipment cleaning is included.
What do you need for a quote?
Please provide your suburb, number of rooms, approximate size, operating hours and preferred service days. Share any existing cleaning checklist so we can clearly agree the division of tasks.
