Scrub & Shine offers medical clinic cleaning for practices across the Gold Coast, Logan and Brisbane South. We work with your nominated contact to agree cleaning areas, products, timing and the specific instructions that apply to your premises.
Start with the practice’s requirements
A clinic’s cleaning scope should reflect how each room is used. Reception, consulting rooms, staff kitchens and toilets require different task planning. We discuss your requirements before quoting and identify any areas or equipment that must remain under the control of practice staff.
- Reception counters, waiting areas and accessible furniture.
- Agreed surfaces in consulting and treatment rooms.
- High-touch points such as handles and switches, where included.
- Vacuuming and mopping suitable floor surfaces.
- Toilets, basins and staff kitchen surfaces.
- Routine general waste to the agreed collection point.
Cleaning and disinfection are distinct tasks
Where surface disinfection is part of the agreed service, the product, surface compatibility and required contact time need to be considered. We discuss your practice’s instructions and the areas where disinfection is required. A general cleaning visit should not be assumed to cover every clinical infection-control task.
We agree how cleaning equipment is used across different areas and how access restrictions are managed. Please identify sensitive equipment, patient records, medicines and items cleaners must not handle.
After-hours work around appointments
Cleaning after consultations can reduce disruption to patients and staff. We confirm room access, alarm and lock-up instructions, and which areas must be ready for the next day. Frequency is based on the practice’s activity and agreed requirements.
Direct communication helps when a room changes use, the appointment schedule extends or a task needs review. We provide a tailored quote and clear scope rather than promise a universal package for every clinic.
Clinical responsibilities and exclusions
This service does not include instrument sterilisation, sharps handling, clinical-waste disposal or specialist biohazard remediation. Cleaning does not replace your practice’s own infection-control responsibilities, and we do not promise accreditation or clinical compliance outcomes. These boundaries are discussed before work begins.
